About

My name is Thomas P. Kager (at least it says so on my drivers license). Over the last 25 years I have worked for companies large and small, in many different industries ranging from resale, manufacture, pharmaceutical, chemical, financial services as well as education. I have worn many different hats, ranging from systems administration, perimeter security, systems/network design/engineering, performance and security assessment, programming, teaching (believe it or not), project management, testing/evaluation, troubleshooting, disaster recovery/BCP planning, CERT, etc.. While I not “expert” at “anything”, protocol analysis has acted as common glue, allowing me to understand the operation of other technologies. It has also inspired interest in other disciplines.

I want to share what I learned, and in the process I will learn from you.
